Looking Back at 2025
2025 was not an easy year for Polyhedra. It tested our conviction, our execution, and our resilience.
While we continued working on our core technology and expanding our ecosystem, the year also brought real challenges — technical, operational, and market-driven. These events pushed us to reflect deeply, sharpen our focus, and evolve our execution. Through it all, we never gave up. We never stopped building.
Verifiable AI and zkML progress
Over the past year, we have improved the performance and scale of our zero-knowledge machine learning (zkML) systems. We completed several key optimization rounds and achieved verifiable support for major models, including Llama 3 8B and Gemma 3. These developments helped move zkML beyond theoretical discussion toward practical engineering feasibility.
The work on zkML is not yet finished, but this year’s results brought us closer to a state where verifiable AI systems can be realistically deployed and evaluated in complex environments.
EXPchain testnet and ongoing development
In 2025, EXPchain progressed through three phases of testnet, each focused on efficiently and reliably supporting complex proof systems on-chain. We integrated native support for zk verifiers and continued to balance performance, cost, and network stability.
EXPchain is expected to move toward a mainnet launch in 2026, with expanded support for zk and AI verification logic that underpin verifiable AI workloads.
Ocash Mainnet Alpha Launch — Reshaping Privacy and Compliance in Payments
In December 2025, Ocash launched its mainnet alpha, marking an important step toward a programmable, verifiable payment infrastructure built on our advanced zero-knowledge protocols.
Ocash is designed as a payment layer that reshapes how privacy and compliance coexist in blockchain systems. By leveraging zk technology, Ocash enables transactions in which sensitive details remain private while fund usage rules and constraints remain verifiable.
At its core, Ocash allows payments to be scoped, audited, and verified by design — making it suitable not only for human users but also for automated agents operating within predefined, trustworthy boundaries.
In 2026, our focus for Ocash will include:

EXPchain’s mainnet is targeted for launch in 2026. It is designed as the foundational infrastructure for zkML, verifiable AI, and advanced proof systems, with native support that extends beyond general-purpose networks.
zkML adoption at scale
For zkML, our expectation for 2026 is to see broader adoption in real-world AI systems — moving toward use cases where AI behavior can be verified rather than treated as a black box.
