$ZKJ Tokenomics
At Polyhedra Network, our goal is to accelerate the adoption of Web3 by dismantling the barriers imposed by traditional computing power limitations. Imagine a world where all your innovative ideas can easily become reality. With the exponential computational power provided by zero-knowledge technology, this will soon be achievable. This is what we are working toward — transforming your ideas from infeasible or impractical to effortlessly attainable.
Our ambitious goals require innovative technology and creative methodologies, building a robust foundation that supports the entire Web3 ecosystem. Our innovations make Web3 faster, more affordable, and more secure. Building on our foundational protocols, we provide developers with a comprehensive toolkit for experimenting with data and computational power. This enables builders to create a broad spectrum of applications and systems in a boundless environment, pushing technology to unprecedented levels.
One of our flagship inventions, zkBridge, fundamentally transforms how blockchains interoperate. It is safe, fast, and operates without the need for third-party trust. We have expanded our zkBridge protocol to a general ZK interoperability protocol, further enabling seamless interactions between Web2 and Web3. This general ZK interoperability protocol simplifies the process for traditional financial institutions to develop applications that connect both Web2 and Web3, facilitating effortless movement of real-world assets (RWAs) between networks. zkBridge has already facilitated tens of millions of cross-chain transactions, generating over 40 million ZK proofs. Today, Polyhedra Network is the leading modular interoperability platform powering multichain applications and zero knowledge proof services across Web2 and Web3 use cases at scale.
$ZKJ Token usage scenario
Polyhedra Network will be governed by its community members via ZKJ. ZKJ is Polyhedra Network’s native token which can be used for:
Zero-knowledge proof service fees:
Developers and applications can use $ZKJ to pay for Polyhedra ZK proof services fees.
zkBridge transaction fees:
Protocols and users can use $ZKJ to pay for zkBridge cross-chain transaction fees. For instance, LayerZero developers and omni-chain applications (OApps) can use $ZKJ to pay for LayerZero zkBridge Oracle/DVN transaction fees.
Staking:
Users can stake $ZKJ tokens to participate in network governance, transaction verification, etc. and receive network and ecosystem incentives. For instance, ZK provers can stake $ZKJ tokens to participate in the zero-knowledge proof network and receive rewards for the proofs that they provide.
Economic Security:
$ZKJ token will be used alongside EigenLayer restaking to provide crypto-economic security. The dual staking mechanism will be used to secure the trust-minimized bridge from Ethereum to Bitcoin.
Governance:
$ZKJ token holders can vote on Polyhedra Network governance on its infrastructure and ecosystem decisions.
